The verdict

Cancel that airfare because Sydney now has its very own New York style pizza place (and it's about bloody time guys) in Darlinghurst. You could easily confuse yourself into thinking you're in the Big Apple at this tasty hole-in-the-wall with their classic 22 inch pizzas by the slice complete with your favourite toppings.

The guys behind all this epicness are the same duo that brought Showcross Pizza to the lucky folk in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy and boy do they know a thing or two about seriously good dough. All Epic bases go through a 24 hour fermentation (aka perfection) process before being lovingly spread with a tomato sauce, cheese and the hero herb, oregano.

Expect everything from pepperoni to to a Lebanese-inspired creation complete with hummus, yep we're serious, hummus, mozzarella, lamb, caraway seeds and slaw, every taste will be well satisfied whether it's one slice or the whole 22 inches of glory.
