What better way to enjoy our favourite time of year than a brand new waterfront restaurant whose name literally translates to ‘summer’? You’re right, there’s no better way. ‘Été’ is one of Barangaroo’s newest recruits and with quarterly shifting produce, floral installations and contemporary artwork chosen to perfectly match the menu, Été will transport you to that French summer holiday you’ve been dreaming of lately.

Thanks to Chef Drew Bolton from Double Bay’s Vine, you can expect French-Australian cuisine made to tickle those taste buds of yours with seasonally-inspired dishes. Think clay-baked chicken with asparagus and truffle potato puree or the pork with fermented apple and hibiscus sauce which is, just quietly, almost too pretty to eat.

We’ve got our eye on the Parisian-style ‘plat du jour’ dish which will change weekly and give you change from a 50 and in fine-dining land, that’s not half bad. And if you’re like us and love the taste of fine wine without the heftyprice tag (so, the dream?), Été has your back. Get ready to spend your days and nights away from it all at this indoor-outdoor European-style space.
