The word canteen has a sense of nostalgia about it, because it reminds us of all of our favourite parts of school (the eating parts). It suggests treats and happiness, which is fitting, since that’s exactly what Everyday Canteen is all about. With hearty yet nutritious breakfast options, like the roasted pumpkin & poached eggs served with feta and hummus on sourdough and a cabinet full of cakes, your belly will be thanking you for days. We can’t stop thinking about the homemade toasted coconut lamingtons, because they’re that damn good. The space is vast and fresh with indoor plants aplenty, so you’ll want to settle in for a while and spend your morning at Everyday Canteen.
