The verdict
Finally a cafe in Bondi has given us the opportunity choose your own combinations when it comes to sashimi and, more specifically, sashimi bowls (which is basically a deconstructed sushi roll, FYI). At Fishbowl Poke Bar you can literally design your own salad, with their BYOB (build your own bowl) concept that means you don’t have to settle for any ingredients that you don’t like. The process is simple – select your base, then sashimi and then add in any of the house prepared toppings and dressings on offer.
This is the place where modern Japanese ingredients meet LA style and guys, wakame rice with kingfish sashimi, radish, edamame, seaweed salad and spicy ponzu dressing is always a good idea guys. Always.
