Bowls packed full of goodness is exactly what Fishbowl is serving up in their Manly outpost (hot tip: this venue is huge). They’ll be serving poke salad bowls filled with only the freshest ingredients, which are delivered to the store on the daily to ensure premo quality of all ingredients. The raw fish is prepared by their sashimi masters (we know—totally a thing), so you can be sure that only the best make it into your poke bowl.
All bowls come jam-packed with your choice of a base of sushi rice, brown rice, glass noodles or purple and green cabbage. You can then either pick one of the existing bowls and add extras (think extra guac), or build your own bowl from the many topping options.
Our fave pick is the ‘O.G.’ bowl (and we’re sure that lovers of their Bondi and Surry Hills restaurants will agree), which has a seaweed salad base, topped with fresh raw salmon, sweet red onion, crunchy shallots, and crispy beetroot sesame; or the ‘Tofu Boyz’, which has tofu (obvs), edamame, shredded carrot, beetroot and cucumber, dressed with toasted coconut flakes and miso tahini.
Oh, and did we mention this bad boy is BYO? Because it damn well is and that means we'll be there errry Friday night (or you know, Wednesday).
