The Verdict

We have good news for all of you beautiful Northern Beaches people; Flower Child is coming your way. Following the success of their Chatswood haunt, Flower Child is a secret garden sanctuary within the safe surrounds of a shopping centre (but you wouldn’t even know it). This café will be set up in an open, floral structure with glass panels for those outdoor oasis vibes, roasting up coffee beans from The Grounds Roasters and baking fresh bread, cakes and pastries on the daily.

The menu is available all day long, focussing around breakfast, brunch and lunch (as well as an upcoming dinner menu—stay tuned), and will feature some of the faves from the original Chatswood hangout, like the smoked chicken breast salad. The Warringah Mall outpost will be holding its own though, with dishes like the Japanese pancakes and the pumpkin gypsy toast. Plus, it’ll have a licensed bar if you’re in need of that Sunday Bloody Mary.
