The verdict
Combining the best parts of Australian and Parisian culture, pop-up brasserie and bar French Henri is set to become one of Sydney’s newest must-visits for relaxed dining and all day drinking. Head Chef Peter Streckfess (formerly Catalina) has created a no-fuss French menu and the house specialty? Steak frites with herb butter sauce, croque monsieur, crudité, house made pâté, smoked salmon with horseradish crème and chicken paillard.
The cocktail list will combine classics with fun yet sophisticated modern combinations that just sound like a good time. Case in point: The Parish Pash, made with Calvados Domfrontais, Noilly Prat, ginger liquor, lemon and a float of red wine.
