The verdict

The Frisco Hotel is back and we can guarantee it's where you'll want to spend your next sesh. With views overlooking Woolloomooloo wharf, this renovated Sydney pub is the perfect spot for you, your crew aaaaaand your pup! Yep, you read that right, the Frisco Hotel is officially dog friendly and we're all the happier for it.

The culinary genius behind the menu is none other than hatted head chef David Park so prepare your belly for a seafood feast. Dishing up everything from bar snacks to share plates, there's mini lobster rolls with crunchy celery, lemon mayo and chives, and tempura fish tacos served in a lettuce cup with avocado, pickled ginger and nam jim sauce (you know, so you can drink your calories instead). The larger dishes are just as delicious (think miso salmon with shiitake and enoke mushrooms in a signature miso sauce, smoked angus slider and slow cooked pork) and are set to make the Frisco Hotel a regular lunch go-to.

Now, no doubt you’re hungry for their tasty new menu, but we suggest you come thirsty too. The team at the Frisco Hotel speak our language with not one, but seven, mojitos to choose from. Yes, seven. Drink your way through the strawberry, passionfruit, melon, lychee, blackberry, watermelon and mango offerings - they're all only $10 a pop every Sunday throughout summer. Talk about having fun on a budget and looking classy AF while you do it. They also serve up a mean Fireball Sour with (you guessed it) Fireball, Amaretto, lime juice, a dash egg white, and sugar syrup, for when you’ve overdone the mojitos. We should mention their $10 espresso martinis and Aperol spritz every Friday, because this Sydney life is expensive and cocktails are always a good idea.

With nautical themed interiors, complete with exposed brick and a large communal table downstairs, this is the kind of place to kick back with your crew all summer long— after all, you have 7 mojitos to get through. If you have a little bit too much fun there's also 7 newly renovated hotel rooms to catch some zzzzz.
