The verdict
Sydney’s sushi dream team has arrived in Barangaroo and FYI, they’ve brought a robata grill with them. We’re talking about the gang from Lotus Dining, of course. Meet your new fave Japanese spot, Fujisaki.
Absolutely killing it on the robata grill, these guys sizzle up all your fave dishes like you’ve never smelt before. Using only local produce from Australian and New Zealand (aka the best of the best) you can guarantee every dish will taste fresh AF. Expect octopus with guanciale and red chilli, salted duck and muntries and god damn delicious lamb rump with yuzu kosho and garlic. Droooool.
For those who would prefer to board the raw fish train, there’s plenty of nigiri and maki to go around, as well as the best damn kingfish tataki in Sydney. Order it alllllll.
No matter how full you are, be sure to order the sweet wasabi dessert, made up a mix of white-chocolate mousse and mango, shaped as a wasabi root sitting on a patch of soil. You won’t regret.
Oh, and did we mention they boast one the best views in Sydney?
