The Verdict

If plant-based baked goods are, you know, your favourite thing in the world then listen in. There’s a new café slash bakery in town and you’ll want to head here to eat your weight in vegan croissants. Yes, they do exist and, double yes, this is a dream come true. 

Gathered Kitchen is basically health goals, with each and every dish dripping with nutrition and vibrant, colourful plants. Expect to chow down on their big breakfast, which is basically a big ol’ plate towering with house-made smokey maple vacon (like bacon, but not), black bean brown rice balls, pumpkin puree, a sesame-crusted avocado, glazed roasted tomatoes, beetroot kraut and more. Honestly, you’ll be rolling home. 

The bakery is churning out trays upon trays of goods every day—think organic and fully vegan croissants, almond croissants with an almond praline, vegan (did we mention vegan?) pain au chocolat with house chocolat. And apple danishes, cruffins too. Basically, everything you’ve been missing since you gave up everything you love. We know.
