Burger innovation (it’s totally a thing) has been taken to the next level at Gojima and we’d like to introduce you to their baby—sushi burgers. They’ve ditched the regular burger bun, and instead, there are two layers of crispy rice, which actually look a lot like hash browns if we’re honest (which we always are, obvs). Between the rice are classic burger fillings, like the sushi cheeseburger, which stars Angus beef patties with cheese, tomato, onions, lettuce, special sauce and pickles.
Located on the ground floor of the Star, Gojima’s sushi burgers be decked out with spicy tuna, crispy kingfish or miso salmon, with fries dusted in umami salt for a subtle seaweed flavour. To really drive home the American and Japanese fusion vibes, they also serve a dessert menu of frozen custards, including the Valrhona chocolate and shiro miso, and the brewed genmaicha and matcha green tea.
