The Verdict

Anywhere with a good view is a good idea, which is exactly why you need to seat yourself at Harbour Bar & Kitchen and never leave. Tucked away in Darling Harbour, this trendy AF foodie joint was made for long lunches, laid back dinner dates and sundowners every day of the week.

Dishing out breakfast, lunch and dinner all day, every day, no matter when you pop by, you’re guaranteed good times and even better eats. The breakfast menu boasts a HBK platter, red velvet pancakes (yes, really), strawberry stuffed French toast and all your old school faves like melt in your mouth banana bread and tasty bacon and eggs that never disappoints. If you’re looking to up your avo on toast game though, don’t look past the smashed avo with poached eggs, dill, feta and Schiaparelli seeds on their signature sourdough. It’s god damn delicious.

With a focus on meat for lunch and dinner, there’s an entire menu dedicated to the woodfired rotisserie and chargrill. From pork ribs and chicken wings to lamb shanks and crocodile burgers, it’s a carnivore’s paradise. Who wouldn’t want an entire BBQ platter for two to themselves with a half rack of pork ribs, half rack of beef ribs, sirloin fillet, burger, skewered spicy BBQ mini wings AND chips & coleslaw!?

Not forgetting about the vegans and vegos, there are plenty of bulky salads, pasta and even an Indian vegan burger to choose from but no matter your dietary preference make sure you save room for dessert. The chocolate brulee dome is worth every single calorie and the wild strawberry pillow (think wild strawberry mousse on a chocolate Breton base with a milk chocolate feather) tastes even better than it looks.

When it comes to drinks, you can find all your fave beers and wines but believe us when we say you neeeeed to order at least one of their cocktails. Every single one tastes like liquid gold. Our faves are the fresh to death frozen strawberry and basil margarita and the no name yet, which is a blend of fresh muddled lemon, vanilla vodka and pink grapefruit juice, finished with a pinch of salt.

Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, stuffing yourself silly with allllll of the meat or simply sipping on one of those heavenly cocktails we mentioned earlier, Harbour Bar & Kitchen is always a good idea.
