The Verdict
In case the name doesn’t give it away—Harry’s Singapore Chilli Crab is a Haymarket fave who serves some of the most hottest crab in Sydney. They’re known for their Singapore Chilli Crab, which comes slathered in a thick and spicy sauce and it is serious business.
The menu is filled with Singaporean-style winners, like the stir-fried scallops served with fiery XO sauce, a hot and spicy Sichuan-style fish fillet with zesty chilli, and a whopping 1kg of Australian mussels served with your choice of XO, Singapore chilli or creamy garlic sauce. You’ve probably already guessed that your toughest decision will be deciding which sauce you need in your life.
The generous variety of noodle, rice and vegetable dishes on the menu will ensure you tick off all of the necessary food groups and favourites such as sticky Peking duck, crispy fried chicken and tender Mongolian beef will no doubt satisfy the devout meat eaters among us. Just to top it off, this place boasts an impressive selection of beer, wine and a few signature cocktails—we’ve got our eye on the classic Singapore sling, for obvious reasons.
