You really get the best of family at Hello Auntie in Marrickville. Seeing chef Cuong Nguyen team up with his Mum in the kitchen, this Vietnamese restaurant is the perfect mix between authentic Vietnamense cooking and modern Australian fare.
With pared-back industrial interiors, the food really shines at this Sydney Vietnamese restaurant. Start your meal with the refreshing bo la lot (ground wagyu wrapped in betel leaf) or get addicted to the fried school prawns. You pho-sure need to get your hands on the pho at this joint too with the broth packing a flavour punch having been stewing for no less than 16 hours. Or, for something a little more modern, the twice cooked pork belly will have you singing praises about Hello Auntie to all your mates.
