The Verdict

One of Sydney's leading boutique organic and lean cafes, Henley's Wholefoods encompasses all aspects of healthy eating, and we can assure you it's anything but boring at this Double Bay cafe.

Ever tried to find a filling, healthy lunch that is actually delicious in Sydney? It's tough. But these guys understand that eating healthy is way more than a pile of lacklustre lettice. Under the guise of director Sophie Henley and creative director Sacha Seear, the menu features mouth-watering goodies that will have your body singing your praises.

How about the Henley's does Mexican for breakfast? Corn tortillas, black beans, scrambled eggs, avo salsa, coconut yoghurt and coriander. Oh yeah, you read that right! For something sweet, go for the maca charged hotcakes, with caramelised banana, 7 seed granola, coconut yoghurt and orange. Talk about a party in your mouth.

For lunch, you simply can't go past the ground me salad, with brown rice, roast pumpkin, red onion, golden raisins, wilted spinach, red wine vinegar and roasted almonds. Yep, all of that in one big, colourful bowl of goodness.

As healthy as its delicious offering is, you can still indulge here: try a cocowhip bowl (sugar, gluten, and dairy free) and top it with their legendary sweet potato brownie for an afternoon treat that brings no 5pm guilt trip.

You asked for healthy cafes in Sydney, and you got just that in the form of Henley's Wholefoods. Down with the boring salads, and up with nourishing meals you'll actually be excited to eat.

You can also find Henley's Wholefoods in Bondi Junction and Alexandria.
