The verdict

Get set to seat yourself at Hotel Bondi for the entire summer because this local watering hole has had a complete makeover and we’re telling you now that you’ll never want to leave.

Overlooking Bondi Beach, the iconic Campbell Parade pub is a Sydney institution, boasting ocean views, a beer garden and laid-back beachside vibes.

The slick kitchen hosts a stone fire pizza oven and a whole lotta seafood, from oysters and prawns, to ceviche and tuna, as well as all your favourite pub staples (think good ol’ veal schnitzel, chicken parmy and battered fish and chips). There’s hearty modern salads and steaks for anyone #cleaneating or working on that New Year bod, and a menu designed just for the little ones.

If you’re after a drink (or three), you’ll feel right at home at the oh-so stylish Curlewis Bar, with an impressive drinks list co-curated by the geniuses at Sweet & Chilli. Decadent creations like a Toasted Coconut Espresso Martini and Hotel Bondi Mai Tai are a must and the Vine Street Spritz is pretty damn delicious too.

The perfect spot for a Sunday sesh, settle in for the arvo at Summer Sundaze with live music and $8 frosé (yes, $8!) or get amongst Bondi Beats (every Friday and Saturday night) with resident DJs spinning tropical sounds in celebration of happy hour (from 9:30pm to 11:30pm).

The best part is that if you want to stay allll night, you actually can, and all you have to do is pop upstairs to one of their many boutique suites.
