Get your steak knives out, because this new Cockle Bay Wharf eatery means business. Set to open on the 10th October, Hunter & Barrel is putting its own spin on the Sydney dining scene with a focus on dishing up a 21st century twist on the hearty fare that would have been enjoyed in the Middle Ages.
Think comforting bowls of soup, flavour-packed pies, coal roasted meats and big barbecued skewers. And it wouldn’t be a Medieval feast without some good ale on the menu. With a design concept that has either your craft beer or barrel aged wine delivered to your glass by a suspended wall covered with barrels, at Hunter & Barrel you’ll be eating like the Kings of ye olde.
