The Verdict
ICYMI, Huxtaburger is one of Melbourne’s best and more top notch gourmet burger spots and fiiiiinally they’re crossing the border and heading straight for Sydney. This is part of a frankly very aggressive expansion and word on the street is, there’ll be 50 stores in the next five years.
Huxtaburger will be calling Redfern home so it’ll (thankfully) be pretty accessible to anyone that lives or works near the city (or near a train station). We don’t know about you guys, but we’re pretty excited to wrap our laughing gear around their classic burger stacked with a beef pattie, tomato, mayo, lettuce, mustard, tomato sauce and cheese on a glazed brioche bun. And of course we’ll be adding bacon, duh.
The interior of this one draws upon inspo around Huxta’s latest venue which means you’re in for a lot of trendy train station and urban vibes. As for the menu, it'll be packed as well as all of the big buns here with a solid line-up of all the staples we've been fawning over since these boys first opened in Melbs.
Huxtaburger will open Saturday 15 September 2018.
