The Verdict
Time to dig out your spandex people—Infinite Cycle is going to get you moving again (lord help us). As Australia’s only virtual cycle studio, traditional gym prepare to have your mind blown. With responsive bikes that actually lean from side to side (like an actual bike), Infinite Cycle has changed the Sydney spin class scene for good.
With the interactivity of being able to turn, lean and tilt on the bikes, you’ll spend the class riding through lush green mountains, climbing hills and generally pedalling your butt off. FYI, besides the fact this is fun, this type of spin class apparently burns 20% more calories which means you can afford to drink 20% more cocktails on the weekend (‘cause we’ve always got our eye on those sweet weekend vibes).
If you’ve always wanted to try SoulCycle, then this will definitely be your jam. While some classes will see you using resistance bands while you ride, others will incorporate hill sprints and climbs. This place works on a virtual platform so you can battle it out to be the best rider of the day or cruise along with the pack and focus on your form. As the road moves, so does your bike so you’ll feel the sensations of moving up and down all whilst standing still—are we still making sense?
If you’re cycling skills are feeling as dusty as your spandex, fear not, because the innovative technology measures your heart rate and tailors each and every session to you. The cute part is you even get design your own avatar, and we all know you gotta make it match your outfit.
