Tucked away at the back of Neutral Bay's Grosvenor Lane, Kabocha (which means pumpkin in Japanese) is well-known among locals for serving up delicious, authentic Japanese fare that will make you want to get in your car and drive for an hour if you have to. And sometimes you do have to.
This is the best katsu curry you'll ever have in Sydney, fact. But you could always branch out and go for some sushi or any of the other rice bowls on the menu. There's no wrong choice here.
