The verdict
Comfort food is constantly giving us life and we literally cannot think of a better way to spend a Friday night (any night, TBH) than with an enormous bowl of handmade bucatini topped with generous helpings of melt-in-your-mouth pork and just the right amount of rich tomato sauce with a hint of chilli. That’s exactly what you can expect from Kindred, the pasta mecca that’s tucked inside a corner terrace in Darlington.
Catering to the heartiest of appetites, your inner Italian will be singing with delight as you munch your way through this menu, whilst sipping your way through the equally great wine list (obvs). Warm up those taste buds with succulent beef cheeks, crunchy celeriac and brussels sprouts, and a side of lightly pickled cabbage—all with a Tempranillo in hand.
But make sure to save some room for the best part, dessert. Dishing up sweets so good you’ll want to order seconds; the creamy pana cotta, gooey chocolate fondant and sorbets. Yep, all of the things.
