Kissuu is a modern Japanese venue for late-night dining and drinking that’ll see you go from dinner to disco in a flash.

Downstairs, enjoy a fresh, flavour-packed menu of Japanese-inspired snacks and share plates by chef Adam Burke (Nobu London, Toko Dubai, and Manly’s Sunset Sabi) in the 40-person restaurant. Perch at the green marbled bar or a sleek banquette to dine on the likes of tempura Balmain bug lettuce cups with umami mayo and caviar, stuffed chicken wings with prawn and wasabi kimchi, and lamb ribs with moro miso and pomegranate.

To complement the food, the bar offering across Kissuu is succinct and punchy, with signature cocktails spotlighting Japanese flavours like yuzu and sake, Australian and European wine, and local and Japanese beer on the list.

Once darkness falls and you’re feeling groovy, ascend the stairs for disco vibes in a lush Studio 54-inspired lounge, with Sydney’s best selectors and DJs curated by co-owner and renowned Sydney DJ Richy Penny playing funky edits of Diana Ross, Gibson Brothers and Candi Station in a red neon-trimmed futuristic setting. A smaller menu of bar snacks is also available upstairs until late.
