People travel from all over Sydney to visit La Renaissance Patisserie and Café in The Rocks, a local landmark for quality French fare.
Opened on Bastille Day in 1992 by Paris-trained patissier and cuisinier Pierre Charkos and his wife Sally, the founders' sons Christophe, Olivier and Jeremy now run the shop, which offers the finest French cakes, pastries and macarons and also now includes Baroque Bistro.
