Tutti A Tavola! Everyone to the table! Such is the philosophy of Massimo Mele, the Tasmanian-born, Naples-raised head chef of Italian restaurant La Scala on Jersey. Whether or not diners choose to share dishes, the focus is on the communal experience of having a meal together. The a la carte menu offers a variety of shared plates (do the octopus salad. Do it!) and meaty and seafoody mains, while also catering for vegetarians and children.
