The Verdict

This chicken shop is far from your average go-to take-away from down the street. This bad boy takes its inspo from regional French cooking as well as the old school Aussie chook shop we all know and love #morechickensalt so expect a no-frills approach to probably the most succulent bites around.

The team at Little Bonny’s believe that anything is possible when it comes to rotisserie cooking, with the menu seeing appearances from free-range chickens (duh), whole fish and a forever changing specials board, with the potential for turkey, lamb and suckling pigs (for those looking to literally spice things up).

Little Bonny’s classic glazes and stuffing are just as good as the bloody chooks themselves. We’re talking a classic French, marjoram, roasted onion and garlic stuffing and a zesty chimichurri glaze that will send you into the deepest food coma of your life – you’ve been warned. 

The glass display cabinets are home to copper pans stuffed to the brim with seasonal salads and veggies to accompany your meaty feed and as for dessert, don’t think we forgot. House made soft serves take centre stage, which is also used in the signature milkshake range. To keep it simple, Little Bonny’s has nailed it.
