The verdict

Lodge Tapas, located in Lane Cove, lives up to its name. This restaurant has a warm and fuzzy feeling about it, almost as if you’re in a ski lodge with your closest friends and family. Serving up typical tapas style dishes for dinner, as well as serving more delicious larger plates, this Sydney restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner so you can enjoy its greatness at any time of the day. 

When breakfast rolls around, if you’re feeling a little naughty go for the Lodge Hotcakes with macadamia praline, macadamia crumble, organic maple syrup, double cream and caramelised banana (it's decadent, but oh-so-worth the calories). Or, if you’re in need of something healthy in the morning, you could try their Detox Bowl with spinach, avocado, mango blended with Goji berries, organic deluxe raw Buckinis muesli and topped with chia seeds and fresh fruit. As well as having the staple breakfast items on the menu, they also have a great range of sugar-free, dairy free AND gluten-free baked treats for all your snacking needs.

For lunch, you’ve got burgers, pastas, seafood, salads and pizzas inspired by Modern Australian, Mexican and European cuisines, but the dinner menu is where the tasty, tasty tapas is available. There’s arancini balls, zucchini fries, spicy Buffalo wings and chargrilled haloumi; all the favourites. With hearty mains like the herb rubbed lamb cutlet served with a wild rice salad or the home made gnocchi with wild mushrooms, goats cheese and truffle oil, you are going to be one happy camper.
