Lola’s Italian and Bar (formerly Lola’s Level 1) brings a welcoming Italian restaurant to Bondi Beach, with an extensive drinks menu to accompany the panoramic views, homemade ceramics, and second-to-none service.
The vibrant and elegant Italian revamp of the beloved space from Marco Ambrosino (former Fratelli Paradiso and 10 William St co-owner) and Manny Spinola is led in the kitchen by head chef Toby Stansfield, who brings experience from Fabbrica and The Old Fitz.
Starring mains on the Lola’s Italian menu include semolina spaghetti with vongole and nduja, king prawn risotto and golden cotoletta Milanese, which sit alongside snacks like arancini, gnocchi fritto with prosciutto, and octopus alla Amatriciana. The Pranzo Pronto lunch, available Friday–Sunday, offers three courses for just $49, with a range of classics to pick from making it an epic-value option for lunch in Bondi.
Cocktails including a variety of spritzes and twists on Negronis begin the beverage menu, which includes Australian, Italian and French wines approachably broken into categories by price.
