The verdict
Sydney welcomes David Thompson’s casual Thai street food restaurant and bar with open arms. After all, ‘Long Chim’ means to ‘come and taste’... Don’t mind if we do! Long Chim is dishing out a menu that begins with a tempting snack and soon progresses into dinner and then to working your way through the entire thing.
Dishes include deliciousness such as crunchy prawn cakes and cured pork sausages spiked with chillies and ginger. And don’t worry, Long Chim is serving up plates for those of us (everyone) with hearty appetites, such as rich Mussaman curry of beef with cardamom and coconut. But Long Chim is more than just food alone; there’s some damned fine cocktails and wines to peruse and then drink shamelessly.
