Some ideas travel a long way before they find their home, and for Lucy and Cian, that journey started with a trip to New York and a soft spot for old-school photobooths. Now, Love Letters has landed at 95 Gould Street, its second permanent space after Byron Bay and a sold-out pop-up run in Collingwood, Melbourne.

"The idea for Love Letters came after a trip to New York, where we fell in love with the nostalgic charm and timeless aesthetic of old-school photobooths," the founders say. "We felt there was a gap for a beautifully designed, nostalgic photobooth experience in Australia, so we decided to create our own."

For $9, you get a session of three photos and two printed photo strips, no filters, no phone screens, just the kind of keepsake you'll actually stick on your fridge. The Bondi space keeps the brand's signature warm, timeless design intact, but leans into the neighbourhood's easy-breezy energy, landing somewhere between a beachside pit stop and a proper little destination in its own right.

"Love Letters is about more than just taking a photo, it's about creating a meaningful moment with someone you love and leaving with a keepsake you'll treasure," Lucy and Cian say. "We never expected the concept to resonate so quickly, and it's been incredibly special to see thousands of people visit our spaces, return with friends and family, and make Love Letters part of their memories."

Open daily from 10am to 8pm and just moments from the sand, Love Letters Bondi is an easy addition to any beach day, first date or afternoon wander with mates.
