If tender and succulent are two words that make you drool, Macelleria in Newtown was made for you. Italiano for “butcher shop”, this steak house is otherwise known as meat heaven, offering everything a carnivore could ever dream of, from skewers and sausages to kebabs and steak.

Whether you take it away (like you would at your local butcher) or eat them in store (they cook meat at no extra charge), it's the burgers you need to wrap your laughing gear around. Ditching the added nasties and stripping it back to burgers in their purest form, we strongly suggest you try every one of their 12 burger offerings (think chicken schnitzel, melt-in-your-mouth beef and fresh to death vego) then go back and try them all over again.
