The verdict

Hidden away from the crowds on Pitt Street, Madang is an unseen wonder of Sydney’s foodie world, hiding some of the tastiest Korean cuisine Sydney has to offer. The sizzling, yet sweet aromas, of Madang’s dishes can be smelt before you even open the door. An airy and bright yet intimate space, this Korean restaurant creates the perfect vibe for long lunch breaks with friends or even a romantic dinner to add a bit of spice to date night.

Serving a mixture of barbequed meats and traditional Korean style dishes, all at varying tastes from mild, medium to hot and super spicy (if you are brave enough) everyone is sure to have something delicious to enjoy (even for your vegetarians). Be sure to try out the bul dak with its deliciously fiery kick from the spicy chicken, together with the sweetness from pineapple, you won’t be disappointed (so many flavours in one mouthful and it is oh so very great). Even better, Madang offers some complimentary side dishes, so you better wear those stretchy pants.
