The Verdict
Malabar in Crows Nest brings Sydney the best of South Indian cuisine, as well as all the favourites, including butter chicken and naan. Typical of South India is the Dosai, a crepe made of rice batter and lentils, is a must, and is stuffed with potatoes or meat accompanied with sauces.
Be sure to also try the onion bhaji, a fried onion fritter served with mint yoghurt. As for the curries there's the best of the best form butter chicken to rogan josh and even beef vindaloo for those who can handle the heat.
