The Verdict

Oh hail the team of legends who knew we’d only fall too easily for an Italian spaghetti and spritz bar (yep, you read that totally right).

This brand new neighbourhood gem (that's Surry Hills neighbourhood, FYI), Mark + Vinny’s is a little treasure trove for when you’re craving old-school pasta classics or some experimental takes for when you’re feeling more adventurous. And just so you know, the menu will feature a hefty and glorious list of over 50 spritz.

This place lives and breathes everything to do with the comfort of home cooking and family-style sharing so it shouldn’t surprise you that traditional dishes include the likes of cacio e pepe spaghetti (butter, pepper and olive oil is always a classic) which is oh-so delicious. 

For anyone with an agenda to mix it up a bit, modern variations take the seriously tasty form of zucchini linguini with chickpea ragu, a blue algae fettuccine with blue swimmer crab (appropriate) and a vegan carbonara made with vegan egg yolk and cured mushroom. We know, we’re done too. It's that good guys, in fact, we'll probs just make it a weekly date in our calendars.
