If you like your Indian spicy, hot and full of flavour, you're going to love everything about Masala Theory in Surry Hills. Tucked away in a terrace on Crown Street, this trendy little place is perfect for a rowdy BYO dinner or casual (and potentially awkward) first date. The atmosphere here is electric—don’t be shocked if you walk away from your meal with a new life-long friend in your table-neighbour! 

With a menu designed for sharing, the staff are full of recommendations, so take our advice and ask for their tips! They seriously know their shiz. Our pick though is entirely unique to Masala Theory. We're talking about the curry bombs. Just what is a curry bomb? It's a surprise, so we'd rather not tell you. Just order and see, it's going to blow your mind! If you're after something less surprising, opt for the green goddess—a seriously healthy, and seriously delicious Masala Theory specialty. Think spinach, brocolli, kale, and parsley tempered with home style masala...delicious, right?! If you're feeling more indulgent, don't fret, there are plenty of options for you, too: the original Indian burger and Hinglish lamb sliders have your name written all over them. As well as a selection of modern deliciousness, you can also expect a whole heap of classic Indian delights. Think, chicken tikka and biryani. 

You’ll leave feeling as though you’re fresh from a trip to India! And probably about 20kg heavier, with a fresh hole in your belt.
