Meadow

Bobbys has been a beachside staple in Cronulla for a hot minute—so it's no surprise that owners Adam and Kylie Micola are cashing in their success, in the form of their third Sutherland Shire-bound venue. Enter Meadow—an all-day music room, bar and bistro, drawing inspiration from Parisian bistros with live and loud vinyl on the decks. 

The idea here is music-first, drinks and nibbles second—the live music program will be spinning records from day to night, complemented by French small plates and a strong Champagne focus. Expect opening items like toasted baguette, with duck liver parfait, onion jam and cornichons, or Moreton Bay bug with rouille and frites. The pièce de résistance, however, has to be the signature Meadows prime cheeseburger with cafe de Paris butter.

The 90-seat venue marks the beginning of an exciting journey for the Micola's, who are set to launch their new hospitality group, Anyway Hospitality, under which all their venues will operate. In any case, Meadow is a welcome addition to the Cronulla dining scene—shaping up to be the new frontier of sophisticated nightlife in Sydney's south.
