Meet Gerard is serving a modern twist on the classic brunch fare in Alexandria. Behind the scenes, owner Traina (previously of Petersham’s The Counter) has enlisted Sarah McWilliam (ex-West Juliett Head Chef) to deliver an innovative and honest menu, taking advantage of fresh local produce.
They claim to have the best coffee, breakfast and lunch in Alexandria (big call, we know), but with a menu featuring Granny Smith’s French toast (baked apple, ricotta, whey caramel, nine spice crumble) and brews by Coffee Alchemy; we must agree that this is a pretty solid foundation for a cracking café in Sydney.
Warning: Meet Gerard is open Monday - Saturday, so make sure you don't plan your visit for a Sunday morning.
