This Asian-fusion coffee shop is plating and brewing up next-level eats in the Surry Hills area. Meet Mica, headed by Mica Chen herself and chef Lee Li, have pulled together a menu packed with epic twists on your staple brunch feeds.
Hit up the eggs benedict on a crispy fried bao stuffed with a soft poached egg, tempura nori, baby spinach and yuzu hollandaise for a breakfast feast like no other. If you’re cruising around later in the day, grab the buttery croissant loaded with silky scrambled eggs, crab meat and corn.
And should you be looking to live your best life, hit the Asian-style lobster stock congee with flamed lobster tail, slow-cooked egg, katsuobushi crush and green shallots. To wash it all back, down “The Sunrise”, a sweet concoction of caramel cream, Japanese lemonade and yuzu puree.
