The Verdict
There’s something brewing on the corner of Mentmore and Morley Ave, but whilst it’s not something of the witchy kind, it’s safe to say that this café in Rosebery is adding a little magic to the neighbourhood. And this cafe means serious business, teaming up with some big and delicious names like Lucky You Cleanse, Single Origin Coffee and Iggy’s Sourdough to ensure you’re café fare is nothing short of tasty.
Immediate crowd-pleasers are the chia and coconut bircher muesli, the shakshuka eggs with chorizo and for those sticking around a little later, the Vietnamese coleslaw with Balinese pork belly is garnering praise all round. And the food at Mentmore & Morley is equally matched by the interiors. So feel free to take a second to admire the rows of copper light fixtures (because shiny!) whilst you munch away your afternoon.
