Amongst the many produce merchants in the revamped space on Danks Street lies Mezzanino bar, a 600 sqm, 100-seat restaurant. This is Sydney’s newest authentic Italian dining venue and you’ll access it via a glass lift, upping the luxe factor significantly. Explore the menu a little, before settling on a selection of Piattini (small plates) before diving into the menu of classic Italian main dishes. It’s been a while since we’ve had a decent tortellini and our guess is that Chef Ricardo Interdonato knows his way around good pasta.
