Wake up dreaming of pizza? Rosebery’s latest Lebanese-style brunch spot has got you covered. These guys are serving up the breakfast of champions and yes, we are talking about pizza. Baked in their own pizza oven and topped with everything from smoked salmon to kale pesto to mushroom, chorizo, and even fattoush, these are breakfast pizzas and we’ll take any excuse to have pizza before noon.
Shakshuka (FYI, that’s eggs baked in a spicy tomato sauce) are just the beginning of the Lebanese twists on your usual go-to brunch classics at Morley Eats. They’re also serving up za’atar wraps (a must try) are stuffed with fluffy scrambled eggs and a whole lotta hot sauce.
The café is set inside a warehouse, so it’s all high-ceilings and bright, airy spaces, so the scent of waffles cooking wafts through the whole place. Oh, had we not mentioned the waffles yet? Well the folks at Morley Eats are changing the game with savoury hash brown waffles (topped with smashed avo, chilli jam and a fried egg), sweet red velvet waffles, piled high with strawberry labne, a sprinkling of pistachio crumbs, warm rhubarb and a drizzle of rose syrup. They’re all gluten free as well—yes, you do need to visit this place.
