The Verdict
Mr Bao fuses Tokyo tucker and Taiwanese street food in the most mouthwateringly delicious fashion, serving up gourmet pillow-soft gua boas in their York Street establishment in the CBD. Choose a variety of succulent steamed bun fillings: karaage chicken, crackling pork belly or tempura prawn, or other special dishes (drooling at the soft shell crab golden dippers) if you want something a little extra fancy. In this contemporary, organically-styled sanctuary you won’t even realise you’re still in the big smoke.
