The Verdict
ICYMI, brunch is the most important meal of the day. When else can you indulge in pancakes aaaaaaand pulled pork? Exactly. Sydney is spoiled for choice when it comes to our brunch scene and the latest (and damn tasty) kid on our favourite meal block is Mr Monochrome.
Bringing even more insta-worthy brekkie and brunch eats to Bondi (note: you can never have too many), with a backdrop so stunning we suggest settling in and ordering one of everything. Treat your belly to their French toast for starters with orange butterscotch mango gel, candied nuts, vanilla gelato and finished with edible flowers for added deliciousness. We should also mention their tasty AF truffle scrambled eggs with pickled avo and bacon dust—yep, you guessed it, these bad boys are as magical (and droolworthy) as they sound.
This is a divide and conquer kind of situation when it comes to the menu, from fluffy pancakes with Chantilly crème and pistachio honeycomb to spicy pork with brioche and cabbage slaw, you’ll want to try it all. If you (ahem) overindulged the night before and need to up your health game the Bircher muesli is definitely worth getting up early (or sleeping in) for.
