The Verdict

Pyrmont Café, Mug Life, is a 90’s-themed café complete with Tupac mural and basketball hoop—and doughnuts are their thing. You’ll be have you going there for more than just coffee and, to be honest, coffee is that last thing we want when Dr Doughnuts and specialty milkshakes are on the menu.

Of course doughnuts were the mascot of 2016 and now feeding into the new year, the donut game has been amped up with Wu Tang Lemon Meringue and Lucky Joy Juniors NY cheesecake doughnuts that are just the start of the sweet toothed possibilities here. With the flavours changing regularly you’ll definitely return for round two and when you do, doughnut forget to pair it with their milkshakes that are quite simply, epic. The PIM.P watermelon and rose tea shake with beet & hibiscus cream will have you heavy breathing after you’ve inhaled it (it’s damn good), and planning the next flavour to attack on your next visit.
