The verdict
Excellent news for dumpling enthusiasts! New Shanghai in Charlestown Square is serving up some of the best Chinese food in Newcastle, and we couldn’t be more excited.
It’ll be none of the sticky, frozen dumplings we’ve grown to dread, but plenty of freshly-made goodies that are hand crafted in front of your very eyes. We don’t know about you, but a serving of piping hot, soupy, meaty xiao long bao is just the thing to make our stomachs and minds happy, with a plate of braised tofu thrown in for good measure, of course.
