Brought to you by the same team behind Cronulla’s Sealevel Restaurant and Bar, Next Door is (you guessed it) located right next door. This one is a more casual affair, with beachy vibes and a pretty damn delicious menu to match.
The brunch menu is everything you need in your early-morning-life. Expect dishes a little left of centre like the falafel poached eggs served with fresh AF tabouli, eggplant, labneh, sumac and pita, and more classic dishes like buttermilk waffles with sweet honeycomb and mascarpone. Sometimes though, all we want is carbs and a whole lot of them. Next Door has an entire toast menu featuring eight varieties of bread ranging from crumpets with whipped ricotta, Nonie’s gluten free bread (arguably the best in Sydney), fruit toast, banana bread and your O.G. fave, sourdough.
The dinner menu, on the other hand, is designed to share but you might not want to after your first bite. Snapper fillet with red rice salad and chargrilled octopus with garlic yogurt will definitely be on our table, and probably yours as well. We recommend you order enough plates to fill the table then share the lot.
