The verdict

An American diner on wheels, Nighthawk Diner serving old-fashioned classics for breakfast, lunch and dinner like subs and shakes. First off, we need to talk about the subs, because the chilli cheesesteak, with beef brisket and oh so much cheese, has grabbed our attention. 

All their subs are served with a side of potato salad and homemade potato crisps so you don’t have to decide which potato side dish to choose (duh, the answer is always both). Finally someone has realised that potatoes are life. If you’re feeling thirsty, then grab yourself a chocolate peanut butter milkshake, because this place is straight from the USA and answers all of our prayers for gluttonous food (we have no guilt). The Nighthawk Diner food truck is popping up all over Sydney this summer and it’s open till 11pm, so you know where you’ll be heading for a sneaky late night snack?
