The Verdict
Tucked away in Brookvale, Nine Yards is exactly what the Northern Beaches has been missing. Complete with a speciality coffee roastery on-site (so you know it’s going to be good), you can watch your coffee being roasted while drinking it and eating Insta-worthy bowls of delicious goodness #signusup.
Whether you want a cold brew, iced coffee or just a good ol’ cappuccino, you’re in good hands. The basecamp coffee (think a double shot of coffee blended with MCT oil and organic butter) is a must but if you’re looking for something other than caffeine, opt for the golden cup, AKA a house-made mix of turmeric, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon and black pepper, mixed with almond milk and honey.
With a menu jam-packed with breakfast and goodness bowls, you’re going to have to come back more than once so you can try one of everything. Our top picks are the classic bowl, with crispy bacon, chilli jam, poached eggs, feta and greens on brown rice and Quinoa, and veg bowl with allllll of the halloumi. Sweet tooths—the French toast was made for you.
If you’re lucky enough to be popping in for lunch during the week, don’t look past the sushi bowls. Topped with crispy chicken katsu, crispy sesame organic tofu or wood smoked salmon; they taste even better than they sound. Trust us.
Perfect for brunch with your squad or a mid-week bite in the ‘burbs (FYI they also have a cabinet full of sweet treats), Nine Yards is never a bad idea.
