An authentic French boulangerie is exactly what Sydney needed and now, it is exactly what we’ve got. Landing in the up-and-coming food hub, Rosebery, Ninou is serving up traditional French desserts and ready to eat baked goods every single day of the week. Boulangerie is just more fun to say than bakery, in the same way that baguette sounds more fancy than bread roll.

Here you can expect things like pistachio and raspberry macaron cakes and the Ninou signature cake, made of salted caramel butter, salted flower caramel cremeaux, single origin guanaja dark chocolate mousse, almond dacquoise and almond flakes croustillant. No, we don’t expect you to understand any of those words. But yes, we do expect you to go and order five. In the way of things you can actually pronounce and recognise, they also serve coffee and classic croissants and hot pain au chocolat.
