The Verdict
Mike McEarney, most famous for his Rosebery favourite, Kitchen by Mike, has opened his restaurant in the CBD. Securing a prime spot in The Wintergarden complex on O’Connell Street, his new venture, No.1 Bent Street takes the sustainable food philosophy he is famous for and has applied it to a more formal dining concept.
Open six days a week, this 100 seater restaurant is serving up a range of light and more substantial dishes with the likes of sweet and soured sardines and pot roast lamb shoulder gracing the menu.
