The Verdict
When one of the world’s best restaurants is looking to relocate to Sydney for 10 weeks, you know it’s going to be one special summer. Beginning in January, Denmark’s Noma will be serving up lunch and dinner at Sydney’s Barangaroo waterfront. While it will cost you a pretty penny ($485 to be exact), we’re pretty sure it’s still cheaper then a flight to Denmark. And you can bet that the quality of the food will be outstanding.
Chef Rene Redzepi has already done some reconnaissance, touring Australia for three weeks to make sure the pop-up menu showcases the best of Australian produce with a particular focus on the ocean and traditional fire-cooking methods. So scrounge up those pennies and see if you can secure yourself a spot at what’s going to be one dining experience to remember.
